Sabrina Johnson might not care for everything about herself, but she's quite used to being an everyday average American human. Except that, as it turns out, she's not. The four unsmiling men in dark suits and sinister shades who follow her home one day already know she's a Scottish faerie princess. And they're not exactly looking to kiss her royal ring.

Fleeing the country only adds to her problems, with a new tiara to try on for size and a potential romance that's bound to go badly before it begins, all while Sabrina tries to stay one wing ahead of the tenacious Human Preservation and Advancement Committee. Which has made its mission to ruin her life. Permanently.

After her last encounter with the faerie-hating HPAC, Sabrina should want to stay safe underground in her brother's kingdom. But it's hard to appreciate freedom when Dallas is still missing after being kidnapped by the terrorist society. Frustrated with the fruitless efforts to find him, Sabrina puts herself out as bait in a haphazard plan that quickly crashes and burns.

Instead of saving Dallas, she ends up right back on Dr. Stewart's couch, falling for a brutal lie that could make her betray everything she's come to care about. Her only hopes of escape are a turncoat doctor, a fellow prisoner, and a renewal of courage on her part, all of which could get her killed. Or keep her an HPAC pet for life.

Six months ago, Sabrina did some serious damage to the HPAC. It can't bother her anymore when it's so weakened and she's underground. She repeats that mantra to herself while furiously focusing on her princess role. That includes a crash course in foreign affairs... and not the fun kind thanks to a playboy Italian prince who has all the wrong allies.

Following the trail of international intrigue leads her right back to some shade-sporting bigots she never wanted to see again. But it's either deal with them or risk her people's safety, not to mention her own sanity. That leads her to a startling discovery bound to prove what little faeries are made of – and how much power she has when she's free to fly.

Flights of Fancy

Sabrina's ready to pave the way for friendly faerie-human relations when HPAC super-spy Melanie White re-enters the picture to try and get her employers up and running at full strength again. Recognizing a forced hand when she sees it, Sabrina goes into action as well to do damage control and retake the offensive.

In order to do that, she finds herself turning to a known murderer, attempted murderer, and all-around pain in the wing. Whether she can trust one-time HPAC Intelligence chief Brendon Iver is anyone’s guess. And she certainly knows the risks. But the potential rewards? They’re just too valuable. So this mission's a go.
